is my due date.
Yes, you read that correctly. Surprise! Or at least we were. :)
I've debated about when to share our news. Now that the shock has settled in and I can talk about it without crying (just kidding) we decided we would let you know. For various reasons, we are going the NHS route- free medicine- so that means that I have not had any appointments yet. I have spoken to the midwife at my local doctor's surgery and she confirmed my due date with me and said that she would contact the hospital for me and they would send me my first appointment in the post. So, on August 4th I have my first appointment and sonogram- I'll be 13 weeks. Then I have my first appointment with my midwife at 16 weeks. It's been a long wait but I'm okay with it this time around. Part of the reason we paid privately with Cerys was that my first pregnancy was a miscarriage and I was extremely nervous with Cerys, so we paid to see a private doctor and got in at 6 weeks and had sonogram every month. As you can imagine, I'm not thrilled about having another baby here, but I am trusting God with it (not easy for me!) and praying for a quick, smooth delivery this time.
I'm currently 10 weeks and feeling very nauseous and all the rest of it. I hope that will subside soon! I was not sick with Cerys, only hungry all the time. I was slightly nauseated with Bailey, but didn't last this long or this frequently. I told Marc that I've heard many stories and read several blogs since I was last pregnant and that has added to the anxiety this time around and all the "what if's" but so far I've been okay with things and learning to trust God with all that I have and He has been faithful to replace His peace with any anxiety!
So, there you have it. I have not posted much and now you know why. In between feeling sick and the teams of students we've had - well it's just been one crazy summer so far!

Oh My gooodness!!! How exciting!!
That was not what I was expecting to read when I checked the blog today!!! We will be praying for you and that precious baby and that all will go smoothly.
Love you guys!
Oh so happy for you!! With my girls I was a little ill, but I was sickest with my son. :) Praying for you with all the doctor stuff.
oh my gosh!!! I am so excited for you!! When do you get to find out boy or girl? I am so excited for you guys you are such AWESOME parents! You will both be in our prayers!
Crongrats!
What an exciting post to read! I am going to be interceding for you every time the Lord brings you to my mind. It breaks my heart that posts are making you more anxious instead of less. We Christians say a lot that we don't need to say, don't we? Congratulations!
Wow! Congratulations! I wasn't up-to-date with you guys when you had your first two, but I'll be praying that all goes smoothly with this one and that the sickness subsides quickly!
Congratulations! Babies are such a blessing! I'll add you to my prayer list.
Yeah!!! Naturally I'm all for folks having more kids. = ) Honestly, the thought had crossed my mind since you've been so quiet lately. It could be that I have pregnancy on the brain.
Hmm.. not sick and then barely sick and now REALLY sick. I'm going to make my prediction here and now that it's a boy. [Grinning broadly!] With my boys I'm sick. With Ellie I was barely sick at all (it was fantastic!).
Oh, this is fun!! Who next? Who next? = )
Congratulations!!! We were so surprised, but it looks like you were to. We will be praying for you to not be anxious and for a healthy mom/baby!
Ooh, congratulations!!! We're excited for you guys and wishing you the best for a smooth and stress-free pregnancy/delivery!
What great news! I was also suprised to read this on your blog! I can't wait to hear about your first appoinment. You will have to keep up with the blog so we know what is going on. we will be praying for you and the baby! Take care!
You guys are in my prayers! CONGRATULATIONS! We're just waiting here until #4 comes. Dr's say in 2 weeks, but I think it will be a bit longer. Hope you guys can relax with all of the people over there!
Wow! Big news! It will be fun to get to watch/hear about the growing *bump* in the next few months. Congrats!
Congrats friend! You can handle it!
And I was VERY sick with BOTH of my BOYS. Could it be...?
Charity, I think this is just the coolest way for God to give you an opportunity to rely totally on Him. We are so happy for you. I'm betting it's a boy. Partly so Marc isn't totally outnumbered and partly so Levi will have a boy to play with when y'all come over.
I will pray about your decision to go NHS. You'll be fine - God's in control.
Congratulations!!!!! I hope you feel better soon. I am with you on the nausea so I know how you feel!
Congratulations!!! I have an unexpected blessing - - - they turn out to be wonderful!
Woohoo, congratulations both! I really hope that you'll feel better soon with your nausea Charity, that part of pregnancy sucks! x
Congratulations, Charity!!
God is in total control! We're praying for you!!
AWESOME news!!!!
I surely will be praying with you as you anticipate the addition of a new blessing to your family. May the Lord give peace and assurance to you and Marc and prepare the girls for the upcoming event. I recall your stress when Cerys was born and will pray that this will not happen. Bless you, my dears. Mina Bickerstaff
Woo hoo! Big surprise. :) Don't expect any such news from us.:) So lots of people predict a boy....just to add my two cents...I had two boys and wasn't sick either time. I bet it'll be a girl or a boy. :) I know. I'm SO funny.

What a suprise, Charity! Congratulations! You'll definately be on my mind and praying for you since I'm also expecting and my due date is Feb 1st!
