No Baby

I have pretty much resigned to the fact that I will be overdue this time! Dern. After all that action at 34 weeks and tons of braxton hicks and real contractions that seem to start and stop before I can even mention anything to Marc- I think she is going to be late.

I've done my Denise Austin Pregnancy DVD and done lots of walking...and still nothing. I've eaten several pineapples and even some spicy food.

Just thought you might want to know. I saw my midwife on Wednesday. And will see her again next Wednesday I'm sure!  I told Marc last night, "I've NEVER gone to my due date!" His response was "As if you've had plenty of opportunities?"  Well, NO... but I was 2 days before my due date with Cerys and induced at 39 weeks with Bailey. SO, technically...I've NEVER gone to my due date. I'm curious how long I would have gone with Bailey.

I'm not sure if I should ask for prayer for me or for Marc. I tend to be a bit dramatic anyway and it's just a bit exaggerated right now.

How 'bout we pray for the whole family? We will just cover all of you in prayer. Hang in there..but keep walking!

Hoping she makes her grand apperance soon.

Hang in there, Sweetie. One thing is for sure, she WILL come. We are praying for both you AND Marc. :) Just think of all the work being done beforehand with those contractions! Hopefully will shorten your labor!

Foot massage. I am telling you that it works! Have Marc rub your arches really well. When I was prego I went to have a pedi and my doc told me not to let them rub my arches too hard because it is a pressure point to the uterus. I thought it was wacko. I don't buy that stuff. I let Tim rub my feet one evening and my water broke in the wee hours of that night! Hey, it is worth a try, right? We love you girl and are praying daily for you. You look great and we can't wait to see her sweet face!

get romantic, girlie! ;-)

There are some pressure points in accupressure, but I don't know them all. Worth googling, I suppose.

I decided with Zachary that nothing worked. He was a week overdue. I watched all kinds of movies that I had never seen....and ate a lot. A lot.

My girlies were both overdue and both times I was convinced they'd be early. I ate tonnes of curries, chilli's and pineapples and did a tonne of walking but nothing really happened. She will come in God's perfect timing and I know how frustrating it can be waiting on that, but it's sure good to know that it is really beyond our control and tht he has gone before you! Praying you are not too uncomfortable and that you will be holdng your sweet baby girl soon!
