This picture was taken this morning at 8:45am
Since the time change two weeks ago, it's getting so dark. By 4:45pm last night it was fairly dark and I just couldn't believe it. You would think after several years I would know to expect it and get use to it! I don't mind the occasional rainy, dreary day but now that we are headed into winter, there will be many of those days.
Cerys was home sick again last week- Thursday and Friday. Bless her heart. I took her in to the doc, but all they seem to ever say it's a virus, "give her Calpol" (Tylenol equivalent). She seems a lot better now and had a good restful weekend. I had plans today to have one of her friend's mum over for coffee and blueberry coffee cake but guess what? As I was going to be last night I heard a barking noise coming from Bailey's room and when I went to check on her I realized she was shivering and coughing- argh! Sure enough, she had 101.5 temperature. So, my plans for today were put on hold but I'm okay with it. I will reschedule with my friend and snuggle up with Bales today. The only good thing about this is that it's POURING down with rain and Marc was able to rearrange his meeting this morning so he could drive Cerys to school so Bales and I didn't have to get out in it. :)

I know it's hard when one sickness after another pops up, and forces you to change your plans. What a great attitude you have!
Poor Bailey...
Hope she will get better soon!
Love you all in Christ!!
Well its a rainy Monday here also!!
Hope Bales gets to feeling better.
Enjoy a snuggly day at home.
I didn't realize they do the time change thing there. It's getting dark around by 5 pm here also. Joel and the boys were raking leaves last night and by 5:30 it was completely dark. Makes me want to go to bed about 7 pm! Sadly, it doesn't make the kids want to go to bed by 7 pm! = )
I have two sick boys as well. Days like these make me almost sure I don't want a third! But then, on good days, I think maybe...
Yucky rainy days....
Hope she feels better soon.
Ah, no fun with a sick child...but at least it was rainy...better reason to snuggle up. It is harder to want to rest when it is sunny outside!
...of course, any reason to rest right now is a good reason:)
