She was all smiles when we "collected" her from school this morning. She had a good first day, her teacher said she was quiet at first (totally expected) but got "stuck in" (meaning, got busy doing things) and she was fine! She skipped the whole way home. Actually, we got about 5 minutes into our walk and she was desperate for the toilet so I had to run into a pub with her and we barely made it. I ran right past the bar and the guys just stared at me. I couldn't think of anything to say, but I'm sure by the way I made a frantic dash for the loo they could figure it out.
Q: How was it?
A: I was shy.
Q: Did you have a good time honey?
A: Yes!
Q: What was your favorite part?
A: Playing on the playground, riding bikes, playing in the sand and water.
Q: Did you make any friends? Can you remember their names?
A: Yes. No, I'll have to figure it out later.
Q: Did you obey your teacher?
A: Yes, when she said "It's time to go inside Dears" when we were playing on the playground I obeyed her and went inside.
Q: What was for snack today? Was it yummy?
A: Milk and pears. Yes.
Q: Do you want to go back tomorrow?
A: YES!

Where has the time gone? She looks so much older! I am so thankful the sun came out and she had a good day. I'm also glad she wants to go back tomorrow. Can't wait to hear about tomorrow.

I remember my first day in school... I cried my eyes out!!!My mom had to go and spend the day with me! My dad sayd that just got used to stay there alone in the second week! I have a picture of me in school crying a lot!!!
