You can't really tell from the pictures, but this tree is brown from all the dirt.

The school Marc attended and graduated from!

She was excited about the picnic on the balcony!

The Baptise Centre, used for offices now. Texas Baptists help build this in the 80's I think. Marc's dad has his office here too.

Salon anyone? Just choose the picture you would like your hair to look like!

Our first annual Happy Birthday Jesus cake! Cerys helped me make it and decorate it, Bailey just wanted to eat it. :)

Wonderful pictures! Joel had a similar deprived childhood.
Oh my gosh, that hair salon! Not even a door on the establshment.
Love the pictures, your right poor Marc having to grow up by the beach! I'm glad you all had a great time in Africa! This was our first year to make a Birthday cake for Jesus and I look forward to doing this with Melissa every year!
What a fun trip! You can tell everyone is relaxed and having a great visit!

Hello, Stephanie told me to come over here when you first started posting about our trip to Senegal. I was there as a missionary this summer and I have really enjoyed your pictures. Many memories. I visited Dakar, but did not live there. I stayed in a little village to the north called Minam. Are your parents-in-law there through the IMB? That's who I went through. Loved me time there though. God is definetly working in that country. If you want to chat more, you can get my email from Stephanie.
