I haven't told you all week, but Marc was in Moscow until yesterday!!!! It was a long, lonely week for us girls and we all ended up getting sick with an upper respiratory infection! He was gone for 7 days but we survived! We are all so happy he's home! He brought us all gifts- the girls got those wooden dolls that have another doll inside- and it continues for 4 or 5 times. I don't even know the name of them! They are so cute. And he brought me two Christmas ornaments- one from Russia and one from Amsterdam, they are precious! As soon as he walked in the door the girls were all over him and so happy, even though we all sound a bit croaky. I said, "Welcome home, can we eat at Nando's tonight?" :)
The countdown to our African trip has begun- one week! I'm gearing up mentally for another flight with Bailey. At least it's not quite as long. One week from today we'll be soaking up the sun and having a great time with Marc's parents!
Have a great day!

Yay for Nandos! I do think that whenever we return to the States I will be so glad to see a Chipotle and Macaroni Grill again...but I will definitely miss Nandos!
So did you have 'hot' to clear out those air passages??? :)
They are called Babushka (not sure of the spelling) dolls and I LOVE them!!
Glad he made it home ok....those are hard weeks!!!
You are one brave, brave mama. I was so stressed about my three hour flights with an 18 month old, I can't even imagine thinking about two trips so close together.
I hope you have a wonderful time, and that Bailey enjoys these flights, now that she's an experienced traveler!
I think they're called "Russian matrioska," or sometimes just "nesting dolls." I remember them being quite fun as a kid. Good luck with the upcoming flight - maybe Bailey will surprise you!
Yeah for the cavalry!! And eating out!! (And a little benedryl if you can find it for those flights.)
You'll have to post some Picts! Glad to hear his trip went well. Hope you recover from your colds before your warm sunny vacation:)
Girl, I don't know how you made it 7 days! Serious. I can barely make it three & I find myself counting down the hours on the last day!
The Russian dolls are called matryoshka. (thx google!)
Can't wait to hear about Africa!
